This self-initiated cover design explores the unsettling contrasts within the Brothers Grimm fairy tale The Goose Girl. I used the severed talking horse’s head, ornamental forms, and a controlled color palette to balance the story’s darker imagery with its eventual restoration of justice. I created the concept, illustration, typography, and final cover composition.
